Welcome to my site where I share one of my hobbies; photography. I don’t do this professionally and it really is just something I enjoy. I started watching my dad take pictures of the family while on vacations, through the holidays and on special occasions. I was fortunate enough to take a black and white photography course in high school and not only was I able to better explore the creative side of taking pictures, I also had an opportunity to see the development of the film we used and the creation of prints from those developed negatives.<\/p>\n
In the early 2000’s I went digital with the purchase of my very first SLR, the Canon EOS Digital Rebel. That camera – and the kit 18mm-55mm f\/3.5-5.6 lens – would last over a decade for me as I continued to explore photography but now in the digital age!!<\/p>\n
At this point I’ve gone through many cameras, lenses and speedlites as I tried to get better and more creative with this ever evolving and fun hobby of mine. The hardware has changed; the software has changed. The core idea, however, has not. To quote other photography buffs: “We take photos that tell a story”.<\/p>\n
